SARAJEVO, July 16 /SRNA/ - The Chairman of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik on Tuesday received letters of credence from the newly-appointed Ambassador of Croatia to BiH, Ivan Sabolić. They concluded that solutions should be found to open issues between BiH and Croatia, particularly the issues of a border and property-legal relations.

Dodik welcomed the new Croatian ambassador to BiH and said that bilateral relations were good, but that there was room to improve them on the basis of mutual respect and to the benefit of citizens of both countries, says a press release from the BiH Presidency.

Dodik informed Sabolić of the current developments in BiH and problems with the formation of authorities and again reiterated that the EU was the most important foreign policy priority of BiH.

Sabolić has said that good neighborly relations with BiH are one of Croatia’s foreign policy priorities.

He has said that Croatia supports a stable BiH, its territorial integrity and sovereignty and that it particularly supports BiH on its European path.

According to him, Croatia is committed to full respect and equality of all the constituent peoples in BiH, and it is particularly interested in the status of Croats. /end/sg
