BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović will have separate meetings on Wednesday in Banjaluka with the ambassadors of Montenegro to BiH, Obrad Stanišić, Croatia, Ivan Sabolić, and Japan, Hideyuki Sakamoto.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Thursday marks the 24th anniversary of the initialling of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH and its 12 annexes in the US Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, which ended the war in BiH and established the country’s constitutional and legal structure.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - President of the Republika Srpska Academy of Sciences and Arts Rajko Kuzmanović told Srna on Wednesday it is important to adhere to the Dayton Agreement because it guarantees peace and stability in BiH, and clearly stipulates that the country cannot be centralised.

EAST SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The Conclusions regarding the Information on the Counter-constitutional Transformation of the Dayton Structure of BiH and Influence on the Position and Rights of Republika Srpska in a way correspond with the commemoration of the date of the signing of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH because every anniversary is an opportunity to see what is going on with this treaty, legal expert Radomir Lukić told Srna.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Legal expert Vitomir Popović believes BiH would be stronger and more stable if the genuine Dayton Agreement was respected, and that means that Republika Srpska and Federation of BiH would be more stable too.

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Historian Radovan Kalabić says returning to the genuine Dayton Agreement is crucial for Republika Srpska, and that the Srpska National Assembly took a strategic stance on this matter by its recent adoption of the Information on the Counter-constitutional Transformation of the Dayton Structure of BiH and Influence on the Position and Rights of Republika Srpska.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The Dayton Agreement brought everyone in BiH peace and Republika Srpska a verification and that is the least disputable thing, but what is disputable is everything that happened afterwards - the constant change of the Dayton Agreement to the detriment of Srpska, loss of its sovereignty and undermining of its institutions, leader of the United Srpska party Nenad Stevandić stated for Srna.

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly is expected to discuss a proposal of an amendment to the House Rules of Procedure proposed by the SDS and PDP during an urgent session on Wednesday.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - SNSD vice-president Nikola Špirić says the appointment of Zoran Tegeltija as the Chairman of the Council of Ministers is a compromise of political factors in BiH in the interest of all peoples, adding that the adopted BiH Reforms Programme, which will be sent to Brussels, does not mean joining NATO.

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 19 /SRNA/ - The Turkish Foreign Ministry welcomed a Tuesday agreement of the BiH Presidency, which paves the way for the formation of authorities at the BiH level.
