KOMŠIĆ WROTE TO BiH EMBASSY STAFF IN SWEDEN WITHOUT BEING AUTHORISED

BANJALUKA, DECEMBER 10 /SRNA/ - BiH Presidency Chairman and Croat member Željko Komšić wrote to the BiH Embassy in Sweden without being authorised to do so and, beside any arrangement, has instructed its staff regarding the attendance of the Nobel Prize in Literature award ceremony, Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik told SRNA.

The BiH Presidency, as Komišić himself admits, did not discuss it, so it is unclear who made the decision for the BiH Embassy staff not to attend the Nobel Prize award ceremony.

To make things look even weirder, the BiH Presidency did not receive an invitation to attend the ceremony, it did not even receive a letter from either the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Embassy in Sweden," stressed Dodik when asked to comment on Komšić’s instructions sent to the employees of the BiH Embassy in Sweden to boycott the Nobel Prize in Literature award ceremony for Peter Handke.

He said it was unclear why Komšić found himself entitled to either grant or deny authority to anyone at the BiH diplomatic mission in Sweden.

"Komšić's insistence on politicizing and problematizing something that is a matter of literature, not politics, further discredits BiH in the eyes of the civilized world," Dodik concluded. /end/vos
