BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - A proposed decision amending the decision on long-term borrowing stipulates that Republika Srpska can borrow maximum up to BAM 678 million this year, said Finance Minister Zora Vidović. The National Assembly of Republika Srpska reviewed a proposed revised budget for this year totaling BAM 3.613 billion, by BAM 188 million more than the original budget. A proposed bill amending and supplementing the law on execution of the Republika Srpska Budget for this year stipulates the way of execution of the revised Budget totaling BAM 3.613 billion, said Finance Minister Zora Vidović. Deputy Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Željka Stojičić has said that the proposed revised budget for this year is the result of the crisis caused by the coronavirus, but that it will contribute to spending the money in a legal way and will help repair damage caused to the economy. SDS MP Zoran Vidić says it is not good for Republika Srpska to borrow money from foreign creditors in order to overcome the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Finance Minister Zora Vidović says that it is the mission of the Republika Srpska Government to preserve the health of the population, jobs and the standard of living, stressing that it will focus in the coming period on development of the domestic economy and protection of domestic products.

BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska HQ for Emergency Situations adopted a conclusion regulating business hours of restaurants and cafes by which business hours from today until Jun 8 are limited to the period from 06:00 hrs until 23:00 hrs.

MOSTAR, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Croatian People’s Assembly /HNS/ has called on international partners to condemn political parties which use manipulations to form the BiH Central Election Commission /CEC/ that is susceptible to political influence and condemn their direct influence on election processes.

MOSTAR, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The presidency of the HDZ BiH today held a session in Mostar and called for urgent implementation of a harmonized financial arrangement with the International Monetary Fund /IMF/, noting that the agreement and distribution of funds must be respected to prevent economic downfall at all levels in BiH.
