89 PERSONS TEST POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS, MOST OF THEM FROM BANJALUKA

 

BANJALUKA, AUGUST 15 /SRNA/ - Another 89 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and most of them, 22, are from Banjaluka, said the Republika Srpska Institute of Public Health after 489 samples were tested.

 

Fourteen infected people are from Pale, five from Gradiška, four each from Zvornik, Ugljevik and Foča, three each from Bijeljina, Kozarska Dubica, Mrkonjić Grad and Čelinac, two each from Bratunac, Laktaši, Lopare, Novi Grad, Sokolac and Srebrenica and one each from Višegrad, Gacko, Istočna Ilidža, Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Kostajnica and Srbac.

They are 52 men and 37 women, of whom 16 are young, 57 middle-aged and 16 elderly people.

So far, 6,063 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Republika Srpska and a total of 211 persons died.

A total of 3,593 persons have recovered so far from the novel coronavirus in Republika Srpska and a total of 57,267 persons have been tested for the virus.

A total of 260 persons have been hospitalized in Republika Srpska – 66 at the Republika Srpska University Clinical Center and 194 in general hospitals.

At the moment, 3,620 persons are under health supervision in Republika Srpska and health supervision of 46,510 persons has ended. /end/sg
