BELGRADE, JANUARY 18 /SRNA/ - President of the Association of Serbs from the Region Miodrag Linta said that the desecration of the memorial plaque which preserves the memory for 405 innocent Serbs in the village of Čelebić, near Livno, and surrounding villages, who were killed by the Ustashas in 1941 is a new killing of dead Serbs and a deep insult to their descendants and the entire Serb people.

LIVNO, JANUARY 18 /SRNA/ - The desecration of the memorial plaque to innocent Serb victims in Čelebić by Ustasha symbols is a message that individuals still glorify fascist and Ustasha ideology, Livno parish priest Predrag Crepulja said SRNA.

SARAJEVO, JANUARY 18 /SRNA/ - 1,289 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH in the last 24 hours, of whom 52 tested positive for the coronavirus, and nine people died.

LJUBLJANA, JANUARY 18 /SRNA/ - Another 293 people were infected with the coronavirus in Slovenia, and 26 persons died due to the consequences of the infection, the Slovenian Government announced today.

ZAGREB, JANUARY 18 /SRNA/ - 174 new cases of infection have been registered in Croatia in the last 24 hours, and 39 people have died due to the consequences of the coronavirus.

ULCINJ, JANUARY 18 /SRNA/ - The President of the Municipality of Ulcinj LJoro Nrekić and four of his associates are being questioned at the Ulcinj Security Center in connection with the investigation into illegal employment in that municipality, which was launched at the beginning of February last year. /end/bo
