NEVESINJE, JULY 9 /SRNA/ - Marking of the 145 years since the beginning of the uprising in Herzegovina - Nevesinjska puška /"Nevesinje rifle"/ has begun today by the commemoration and laying of wreaths at the memorial to the Herzegovinian insurgents in the village of Krekovi near Nevesinje. The celebration is attended by a delegation of the National Assembly of Srpska consisting of MPs Ilija Tamindžija, LJubiša Krunić and Nebojša Vukanović, Ministry of Labor, War Veterans and Disabled Persons' Protection Duško Milunović, and Slobodan Župljanin, envoy of the President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović.

NOVI SAD, JULY 8 /SRNA/ - In Novi Sad, several thousand citizens were protesting against the announcement of the introduction of curfew, and protesters smashed the windows of the City Hall with stones and firecrackers and then set fire to one part of it. Mayor Miloš Vučević condemned the riots in Novi Sad on Wednesday night, as well as the attempt to set fire to the City Hall, deeming the act shameful.
