FBiH DEFLECTS ATTENTION FROM ITS OWN AFFAIRS

BANJALUKA, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ - Head of the Republika Srpska Research Centre of War, War Crimes and Tracing Missing Persons, Milorad Kojić, told SRNA Tuesday that political structures from the Federation of BiH /FBiH/, by publishing parts of documents, want to deflect attention from their own affairs and falsely present the responsibility of Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković and Republika Srpska itself.

Commenting on the documents published Tuesday by the Srebrenica Memorial Centre, Kojić says the frustrations coming from FBiH are visible due to all the scandals, especially those involving the President of the BiH Court, Ranko Debevec, as well as those within the SDA.

He also emphasizes their constant need to present Republika Srpska as a "genocidal creation", as they want to maintain that thesis in order to completely destabilize Srpska.

Kojić adds the FBiH does not like a stable Republika Srpska, as it is now, since their goal is to create an exclusively Muslim or Bosniak state, where Serbs have no right to vote.

"Precisely through the media spinning they are doing, using the Srebrenica Memorial Centre beyond their competencies, and putting pressure on the Prosecutor's Office, they would like to deflect attention from all scandals happening there and to draw that attention to war crimes, which they will keep doing in order to bring Republika Srpska’s legitimacy into question, which is their ultimate goal," Kojić said.

Kojić points out that the accusations of him revealing the identities of protected witnesses which he should have been arrested for were absurd, noting that he never said who the protected witness was in his statements, assessing it as one of the types of manipulation and pressure.

"It is, first of all, the attack on Republika Srpska through the prime minister and the desire to destabilize it. All that is happening by extracting parts from the document, we can manipulate it if we take few sentences out of the document and accuse whoever," Kojić said.

He adds that if one looks at the entire document, one can see that it absolutely does not correspond to the truth.

"I believe that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH should primarily deal with the issue of Debevec and his property, and that this attempt to deflect attention is the work of certain intelligence and para-intelligence agencies," Kojić said.

The Srebrenica Memorial Centre published certain documents which, as they say, refer to the way in which the Republika Srpska Army "realized the procurement and mobilization of vehicles for transport of prisoners and shooting".

The Srebrenica Memorial Centre called on the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to summon Radovan Višković for an interview, because, as they say, the documents transcripts indicate that he was involved in the transport operation, also asking for Kojić's arrest because, as they said, he announced that he would reveal the identities of protected witnesses. /end/vos
