BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Finance Minister Zora Vidović stated in the National Assembly that the Solidarity Fund for Republika Srpska Recovery had to be formed in order to remedy the negative impact of the coronavirus outbreak on Srpska economy. Chair of the SNSD Caucus, Igor Žunić, announced that the Caucus would initiate a special session to discuss issues related to controversial Resolution on Respecting the Victims of Fascist Regimes and Movements, adopted by the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, as well as various topics related the Second World War, in which Serbs suffered the most. Srdjan Rajčević, the Republika Srpska minister of scientific and technological development, higher education and information society, said that the curfew was imposed in order to prevent a state of anarchy. Republika Srpska Deputy Prime Minister Anton Kasipovi said in his address to the deputies that the life of a human being during the coronavirus outbreak was inviolable, thus all the measures issued by the republican bodies were taken in that direction.

BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović says it was agreed at today's meeting with representatives of tourism organisations and hotel management from Srpska, to start using vouchers as of June 15 in order to help the tourism sector overcome the crisis caused by the coronavirus outbreak, with the subsidies enabling citizens to spend part of their vacation in local destinations under favourable conditions.

BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The death of innocent babies is a painful wound in the hearts of their mothers, families and the entire Serb people which testifies to the crime that was committed under the eyes of great powers, Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nedeljko Čubrilović said on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the deaths of babies at the Banjaluka Clinical Centre for the lack of Oxygen.

BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The suffering of 12 innocent babies in 1992, in the then Banjaluka Clinical Centre, should be included in textbooks as a lesson for future generations about the horrors of war with no mercy for anyone and the sacrifice the mothers faced at that time, Secretary of the 12 Babies Association, Željka Tubić, said today.

BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Government made a decision today on accepting donor funds from the Investment Fund for the Western Balkans in the amount of EUR 6,800,000 to finance the project of building a cross-border bridge in Gradiška.

UGLJEVIK, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Ugljevik marked today the 28th anniversary of the founding of the First Majevica Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, conveying a message that Commander Milan Jović is a synonym for this brigade which was extremely important in defending Serb territories and whose 301 members fell during the last war.

UGLJEVIK, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Head of the Republika Srpska War Veterans Organisation Milomir Savčić said today in Ugljevik that this Organisation’s priority in the coming period will be monthly allowanced for unemployed demobilized soldiers of the Republika Srpska Army once the budget of Republika Srpska is economically stabilized after the coronavirus outbreak.

PRIJEDOR, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Organisation of families of captured and killed soldiers and missing civilians of the city of Prijedor paid tribute to two JNA members, Rado Lukić and Radovan Milojica, who were killed today in 1992 in Hambari.

BANJALUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Emergency Situations Staff lifted the curfew in Republika Srpska today. Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government of Republika Srpska, Lejla Rešić, stated that the curfew was lifted as the state of emergency was lifted yesterday.

STANARI, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The company "EFT – Mine and Thermal Power Plant Stanari" donated today six ambulances with accompanying medical equipment to hospitals in Doboj, Trebinje and Nevesinje, as well as health centres in Stanari, Trebinje and Banjaluka.

MODRIČA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Modrica Oil Refinery today donated 3.5 tons of disinfectant "Dizisept", produced in the manufacturing plants of this company, to the Republika Srpska Emergency Situations Staff and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

SARAJEVO, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Banjaluka-based company "Prirodno bilje" received approval from the Republika Srpska Ministry of Agriculture for cultivating and producing organic industrial hemp to be exported to Germany, announced the "Farm 2" project implemented by the US Agency for International Development /USAID / and Sweden.

SARAJEVO, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH, Johann Sattler, handed over today in Sarajevo EUR 800,000 worth medical equipment intended for health institutions throughout BiH.

SARAJEVO, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Chair of the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Serbs in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/, Đorđe Radanović said that the Resolution on Respecting the Victims of Fascist Regimes and Movements adopted by the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly is an attempt to revise the Bosniaks’ past during the WWII.

BELGRADE, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Honour of Fatherland Association today condemned the absence of any reaction by international anti-fascist forces in the Second World War to holding of a mass for Ustasha criminals killed in Bleiburg, which causes disbelief among Serbs and some Croats and Muslims who do not glorify fascism and Ustashism.

SARAJEVO, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Security Committee of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ asked the federal government to examine the possibility of terminating the contract with the Company "Srebrena Malina/Silver Raspberry", which imported disputed respirators from China, and dismissal of the director of the Federal Civil Protection Administration, Fahrudin Solak.

BELGRADE, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - As of today, local and foreign citizens are allowed to enter Serbia without a PCR test and self-isolation, commercial flights have started from Niš airport, and public gatherings of up to 100 people in open and closed space are allowed.
