VIŠKOVIĆ: CHRISTIAN SCHMIDT CONTRIBUTED TO CURRENT SITUATION IN BiH
BANJA LUKA, MARCH 21 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković said that only Christian Schmidt contributed to the current situation in BiH, not Republika Srpska or its institutions, which only want to work according to the Constitution.
"The Constitution is a document that should be adhered to by any official. That is what we are doing and we will continue to do so," Višković told reporters in Banja Luka ahead of the "Dayton Peace Accords - 30 Years of Peace and Stability" scientific meeting. He emphasized the importance of this scientific meeting in order to finally find an answer to the question of whether a high representative can be a legislator in a country. Višković also said that the question arises as to whether a country should function in such a way and whether the institutions of that country should follow laws passed by an individual or laws passed by a legally elected legislative body. "I expect answers to those questions from this group so that we know how to behave. What we have today in Bosnia and Herzegovina is unacceptable, because even the colonial emperors did not have the kind of authority that someone who presents himself as a high representative has today," Višković said. The scientific meeting "Dayton Peace Accords - 30 years of peace and stability" is organized by the Center for Socio-Political Research of Republika Srpska, under the auspices of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
