ŠKIPINA: SARAJEVO IS THE ONLY PLACE WHERE UNREST IS BEING DISCUSSED, KEY TO THE SOLUTION IS HERE – DEPARTURE OF MALIGNANT CAUSE OF CRISIS, SCHMIDT

PALE, MARCH 21 /SRNA/ - Damjan Škipina, SNSD member of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, told SRNA that the only place where riots, unrest, and some conflicts are being discussed today is Sarajevo.

"We always talk about peace, stability, a Dayton-based, constitutional, and sovereign BiH, even when Christian Schmidt and the Bosniak political leadership carried out a direct attack on Republika Srpska," Škipina emphasized, adding that Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has been persistently advocating for two decades for respect of the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement and that it is finally time to focus on the economy and development. However, according to Škipina, all of this has been met with condemnation from Sarajevo, high representatives, foreigners, and Sarajevo-based media, who, following their usual pattern, blame Republika Srpska, its officials, and the Serbian people for everything. He pointed out that Serbian officials do not have a single statement in which they call for war or promote warmongering ideas. Škipina assessed that it was a good message that EUFOR troops patrolled through Sarajevo a few days ago. "It is evident that at a higher level, there is an awareness that the Bosniaks have various intentions that must be nipped in the bud. We hear their representatives saying there is no justification for calming the situation and that they must defend themselves. And how their defense should look was long ago stated by Reis Husein Kavazović when he said that Bosniaks must be ready to `defend their homeland with weapons` and to `follow Allah's path,`" Škipina emphasized. He emphasized that Republika Srpska supports the presence of EUFOR as a guarantee to prevent all those who wish for such scenarios and the Reis’s vision of creating an Islamic Bosnia by force. "BiH has one path, and that is negotiations on solutions that will enable it to have sustainable functionality, not mere survival. Each of the Bosniak leaders wrote and asked EUFOR to `arrest` the legally elected president of Srpska, but, in reality, they are asking for the kidnapping of the highest officials of Srpska and the beheading of Republika Srpska, which is a continuation of their idea of a coup d'etat that was carried out through Schmidt," Škipina pointed out. He recalled that Michael Murphy and his pawn in the person of Schmidt attempted through an imposed decision to strengthen the position of this foreigner so that they would have leverage to use their stick at any moment, even after Murphy's departure, if Republika Srpska does not align its policies with their demands for a unitary BiH. "We have now reached a situation where, due to the arbitrariness of a man who is illegally residing in BiH, we are facing one of the biggest, if not the biggest political crisis, as BiH has been living in crisis for 30 years since the war. His arbitrariness has been unconditionally accepted by the unconstitutional institutions - the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH - in order to launch a crackdown on Serbs. However, they did not expect that their actions would be met with a decisive response from Republika Srpska. Enough with the impositions, humiliations, and dismissals of Serbian politicians. The geopolitical situation has also shifted in favor of Srpska," emphasized Škipina. "The entire problem in BiH was caused by Schmidt and his legal and constitutional violence. BiH cannot move forward until the malignant sources of the crisis are resolved - an illegal foreigner who has been staying in BiH for far too long while receiving enormous compensation, and the unconstitutional institutions in BiH," Škipina said. He says that without returning to the original Dayton Agreement - its letter, not its spirit - there is no solution to the crisis in BiH. "The key to the solution is there, but the hot-headed politicians in Sarajevo, who have been trying for 30 years in peacetime to expel Serbs and create an Islamic state here, cannot come to terms with the fact that they have encountered a tough opponent. I fear they will break their teeth on this, and that outcome is becoming increasingly certain," Škipina concluded.
