ŽUPLJANIN: ENACTING NEW CONSTITUTION - IMPORTANT HISTORIC TASK

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 15 /SRNA/ - The president of the Organization of the Republika Srpska Army /RSA/ Commanding Officers, Slobodan Župljanin, says that this organization fully supports all participants in the process of enacting the new Constitution of Republika Srpska, especially the leadership of Srpska.

"I am convinced that this is equally important historic task as the one from 1992, when we were creating Republika Srpska, and when the members of the then Parliament of Srpska had the strength, boldness, and courage to proclaim Republika Srpska and the first Constitution of Srpska," Župljanin told reporters in Banja Luka. He says that courage, strength, and power are needed today more than ever to return to Republika Srpska everything that has been taken away and stolen over the past 30 years, transferred by force, under threats, and pressure. Župljanin emphasized that the new Constitution of Republika Srpska must restore the sovereignty of Srpska and the Serbian people, as provided by the Dayton Peace Agreement. He says that the Serbian soldiers, who are most deserving of the defense and creation of Republika Srpska, today have an obligation not to allow anyone from BiH or the world to destroy what tens of thousands of their comrades paid for with their lives and blood.
