VIŠKOVIĆ: SUCCESS OF BANJALUČANKE IN BUDAPEST IS A GREAT RECOGNITION FOR CULTURE OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 19 /SRNA/ -The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković congratulated the women's chamber choir "Banjalučanke" on winning the gold medal at the 19th International Choir Competition in Budapest, emphasizing that it is a great recognition for the culture of Republika Srpska.
"On behalf of the Government of Republika Srpska and on my own behalf, I send you sincere congratulations on winning the gold medal in Budapest," said Višković. He emphasized that the success of "Banjalučanke" represents a significant recognition for the work, talent and dedication of the members of the choir, but also a great recognition for the culture of Republika Srpska, which they worthily represent, the Bureau of the Government of Republika Srpska for public relations announced. "We are proud of the fact that it was you, with your voices and dedication, who contributed to the recognition of our music scene and cultural identity in the international framework. I wish you continued success in the future, continue to cherish choral art and be an inspiration to young generations," said Višković in his congratulatory message. The women's chamber choir "Banjalučanke" from Banja Luka won the gold medal in the category of traditional music at the renowned 19th International Choir Competition in Budapest. This year's edition of this important five-day competition gathered more than 30 choirs from 11 countries from three different continents in several competition categories.
