STOP POLITICAL PERSECUTION OF SERB LEADERSHIP IMMEDIATELY

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 18 /SRNA/ - The Presidency of the Republika Srpska Organization of Army Elders /RSA/ has called on all structures in and outside BiH to immediately stop the political persecution of the leadership of Republika Srpska and attacks on Srpska, its prroperty and institutions.

"The Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska and the Serb people must unconditionally protect their leadership from violence that could come from any side and create conditions for solving all problems through democratic dialogue of the three constituent nations and two entities," the president of this organization Slobodan Župljanin told journalists in Banja Luka. The presidency of this organization believes that the filing of new criminal charges, the issuing of arrest warrants and the detention of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić and Prime Minister Radovan Višković is the clearest evidence that this is a staged political process and an attack on the institutions of Srpska with the aim of their disappearance. "It is necessary for Republika Srpska, through its official and unofficial diplomatic channels and the diplomatic channels of friendly countries - Russia, China, Hungary, Slovakia and Belarus, to request from the representatives of the new American administration the urgent protection of the Dayton and constitutional position of Republika Srpska, its institutions and property and the creation of conditions for all accumulated problems in BiH to be resolved in accordance with the Dayton Agreement, the constitutions of BiH and Srpska under conditions of peace," Župljanin stressed. He said that the Presidency of the Organization of RSA Elders demands from the signatories and guarantors of the Dayton Agreement, especially the USA and Russia, to prevent any use or abuse of force by EUFOR and NATO forces against Republika Srpska and the Serb people. Župljanin said that the Organization of RSA Elders gives full support to the institutions of Srpska in the process of creating a new constitutional and legislative framework for the protection of the constitutional order of the Republic. He stated that the Organization assesses the current political and security situation as complex and burdened with various challenges at the global, regional and local level. "We strongly support efforts to solve all problems in Republika Srpska and BiH through democratic dialogue without the participation of external factors," Župljanin concluded.
