ŠULIĆ: COOPERATION WITH TATARSTAN TO BE ESTABLISHED SOON

SAINT PETERSBURG, JUNE 18 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Minister of Trade and Tourism Denis Šulić has stated today that Srpska could soon establish cooperation with Tatarstan and begin marketing its products there.

"At today's meeting with the governor of Tatarstan, we agreed on the possibility for Srpska to improve its trade position, especially regarding consumer goods that will be marketed in this region," Šulić said in Saint Petersburg, where he is attending the International Economic Forum as a member of Srpska's delegation. He expressed his gratitude to the Head of the Republika Srpska Representative Office in the Russian Federation, Duško Perović, and to the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who, as he said, made it possible for Srpska to be seen in Russia as a country not of one million, but of a billion people. Šulić added that a Tatarstan delegation is expected to visit Republika Srpska at the end of July, and reminded that Srpska is already well-known for its cooperation with the Saint Petersburg region. "We must take advantage of this opportunity. By the end of July, we should hold meetings involving our business entities engaged in the production of consumer goods, along with representatives from Srpska Representative Office in the Russian Federation, in order to intensify negotiations on transport and product marketing there," Šulić added. He said that certain brands from the Banja Luka Brewery are already present on the Russian Federation market, which is very commendable and encouraging for all businesspeople from Srpska who are considering exporting their products. We now have a key and decisive opportunity to position our products well so that citizens of the Russian Federation can find in the shops and buy them,” Šulitold RTRS.
